This is AN HISTORIC DAY in America!

April 7, 2022… Ketanji Brown Jackson made her historical ascension as the 116th Justice to the Supreme Court of the United States. It took this country, (that says ALL MEN are created equal) 233 years to appoint a Black woman to the bench. 233 years of decisions missing critical representation.

This trajectory is one small step on the way to Equality, but there are so many more hurdles to jump. Let us all celebrate the victory of this day in America! But let’s remember that we must get back to the hard work tomorrow of insuring that ALL Americans are truly created equal under the law!
